Hydronic heating is a system that uses heated water to transfer heat. A boiler heats the water that is circulated through wall-mounted panel radiators or towel warmers to heat your living space. Radiant heating is hydronic heating that is in or under the floor. We use PEX tubing for consistent quality installations. Outperforming copper, PEX tubing has been used in Europe for the last 20 years. It is installed on the subfloor and encased in Gypcrete, a lightweight concrete that is ideal for heat transfer. For a plywood sub floor, we use a product called Rau-Panel, a plywood and aluminum tubing panel that installs on top of the sub floor and below the finished floor. Existing floors can have radiant installed in the joist bays under the floor. Radiant can be installed in almost any application.

Radiant heating provides consistent uniform heat and a comfortable living environment even at lower thermostat settings. Gone are the noisy forced air heating fans that continuously cycle on and off, inefficiently circulating unhealthy, dust-filled air. The circulating pump used in radiant heating systems requires less energy to run than a forced air blower does.
